No jokin'!

Apparently, if a citizen of the USA even thinks about joking about illegal activity, we can be arrested. The citizens of the TSA on the other hand just get fired. Good to know!

Don't forget to look at the other links on the page... it isn't the only "issue" with our esteemed TSA...

But hey! We're fighting for freedom, right? Unless of course the freedom we are fighting for is taken away...

New Coordinator and #Moodlerooms meetings

New Coordinator!

Have been rather busy of late. We have an energetic new member to our department, the new Online Coordinator for Training and Development. She has brought a fresh view to training and has some great ideas to inspire our faculty and expand the training program. We seem to meet every morning and talk almost all day about goals and plans for the future... I think I needed a little kick in the butt... I've been getting dull and staid in my old age!

Moodlerooms Meeting

The people at Moodlerooms came to the college for a face-to-face kick-off meeting... VPs, Directors, and Project Managers all gathered together with HCC Admins, Faculty, and Staff... I was impressed! We discussed project goals, technical integration, and training planning. Overall, a great day with great people!

Moodlerooms Phone Conference

Had a phone conference with Moodlerooms about training... still a lot to work out! The new Coordinator and I have been discussing (and discussing and discussing!) changes in the way we train, including essential practices right from the beginning tied in with tool use and user interface. It's gonna be a long year! But once done, I think we will come out with something very special and robust! Wish us luck!
