Endings and Beginnings

It is the end of an old year, and the beginning of a new one. Does this mean anything? I doubt it, but in some ways, it appears to be a time for change.
With this in mind, I have started a blog, if for no other reason than to see what this new medium will bring.
What is this blog about you ask? At this point it is rather open ended, which is a good thing. It means I can write about anything that interests me at the moment... then change my mind after I write it! And since I am a beginner at this, there are many possibilities...
It's getting late and I'll write something more profound later...
